Description

Named for its geometric pattern that resembles the sycamore seeds that spiral to the ground in autumn, our Sycamore Rug is handwoven on a vertical loom. The fabric is inspired by Scandinavian weaving styles, with dyed wool yarns woven into a cotton foundation to form the color and pattern. Due to this artisanal crafting process, each piece will have individual characteristics which add to its charm. This blue rug is our medium size, but it is also available in several other sizes and colors.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this sycamore rug for its versatile colour palette and contemporary geometric pattern, making it a great addition to both traditional and modern interiors. The grey-blue tones add a subtle splash of colour without overpowering the space, and the cotton/wool mix offers durability and softness underfoot. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms where you want to add texture and visual interest. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral furniture or contrasting colours to make the pattern pop. Also, layering with smaller textiles like cushions or throws in coordinating colours can help unify the look. Its 8x10 size makes it perfect for anchoring larger seating areas or defining open-plan spaces effectively.
