Description

Our Swanmore Garden Sofa is sleek and modern with its angular wooden frame. It is formed from teak, which is a dense wood high in natural oils that makes it strong, durable and weather resistant. The usually smooth wood is wire brushed and hand painted for an authentic weathered wood appearance. Topped with weather-resistant cushions, the sofa couldn’t be more comfortable. Pair it with the Swanmore Garden Ottoman to form an L-shaped sofa. Due to the natural materials and artisanal finishing process, each piece may have individual characteristics.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Swanmore sofa for its clean lines and naturally aged teak frame - it slots straight into both contemporary courtyards and relaxed coastal terraces. The pale, removable cushions make it easy to introduce colour and pattern through scatter cushions or a weatherproof throw, while the robust hardwood structure means it’ll stand up to the British weather with minimal upkeep. For a cohesive look, pair it with a low-slung teak coffee table and a few potted ferns or grasses in unglazed terracotta. Keep accessories simple - a small stack of outdoor-friendly trays or lanterns will do the job without cluttering the seating area. Regularly oil the teak to maintain that soft grey patina and brush off any debris to preserve its good looks season after season.
