Description

The Stafford Dining Chair has been an OKA best seller ever since it launched in 2015. It was created by Annabel Astor, when she was unable to find the perfect upholstered dining chair. Every season, we reimagine this classic chair in new ways, introducing different colours and finishes to the range. Given the popularity of kitchen islands and home bars, it made perfect sense to develop a matching Stafford Stool. Our bar chair features the same stained oak wood legs, comfortable backrest and stud detailing, but it is fixed at worktop height and includes a useful footrest. This version features warm Aged Tobacco leather. Every element of the stool, from each metal stud hammered into place by hand to the real leather upholstery and stained legs, will result in the stool having individual character.

Our Stylist Says

I love the aged tobacco leather finish on this stool as it lends a rich, timeless feel that works well in both contemporary and traditional interiors. It's perfect placed at a breakfast bar or kitchen island, especially in schemes that feature warm woods, industrial accents, or neutral tones. Styling tips include pairing it with marble or stone surfaces for contrast, or mixing it with metal light fixtures for an industrial look. Practicality-wise, the leather age adds character while being resilient, making it a smart choice for daily use. Keep the surrounding decor simple to let the leather’s patina stand out, or add layered textiles nearby for a cosy, inviting vibe.
