Description

A symbol of longevity, good fortune, and peace in East Asian culture, the Songnen Table Lamp Base is named after China's Songnen Plains, home to thousands of cranes. Hand-painted in Jingdezhen, a city renowned for its ceramic heritage, this lamp features intricate crane and foliage detailing.

Our Stylist Says

I love this lamp base because of its elegant celadon glaze and the subtle, nature-inspired detail, which gives it a timeless yet contemporary appeal. It works particularly well in interiors that blend traditional and modern elements - think understated chinoiserie style, minimalist schemes, or even eclectic spaces that celebrate unique pieces. For styling tips, try pairing it with a neutral lampshade for a soft look, or add a patterned cover for a bit of visual interest. It’s versatile enough to sit on a side table in a living room, a bedside table, or even used to elevate a desk or console arrangement. Its understated sophistication makes it a great all-rounder for adding a touch of calm and refinement.
