Description

A traditionally woven Soumak rug from the tribes in north-western Persia. Finely woven, our Izmir Rug is also very durable and provides warmth and softness underfoot. Adorned with a striking multicoloured design, it would make a beautiful centrepiece in a living room, dining room or study. A larger size is also available. Due to the artisanal crafting process, each piece will have individual characteristics and no two pieces will be the same.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little Izmir rug for its vibrant, yet versatile, design - it adds warmth and character without overwhelming a space. It's perfect for cosy living rooms, bedrooms, or even a stylish dining area, especially if you want to introduce colour and texture with ease. The mix of cotton and wool, along with the Persian-inspired pattern, makes it both durable and comfortable underfoot, ideal for everyday use. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral or textured furnishings to let the pattern stand out, and keep the surroundings relatively simple to showcase its intricate design. It's a great way to anchor a space and inject personality into a variety of interiors.
