Description

Cover all bases – inside and out – with our Skala Rug. Its grid pattern is handwoven using a material crafted from 100% recycled plastic bottles. This has the double appeal of appearing like the much sought-after sisal material, but having extra weather-resistant qualities that lend it to outdoor use. Though you may think that this would give the rug a rough feel, it is actually incredibly soft underfoot. Due to the recycled materials and artisanal process, there will be individual characteristics from piece to piece.

Our Stylist Says

I love the OKA Skala indoor/outdoor rug in barley for its versatile and understated style. Its natural, muted tone works well in both contemporary and more traditional interiors, adding texture without overpowering the space. It’s perfect for outdoor terraces, patios, or sunrooms, but also works beautifully in kitchens or living areas where practicality is key. A handy styling tip is to layer it under outdoor furniture or seating areas to create a cosy, defined zone, or pair it with neutral or earthy accessories for a cohesive look. Its recycled material adds an eco-friendly touch, making it a stylish yet sustainable choice.
