Description

The pattern of the Sheki Super King Headboard was originally applied to our popular Sheki Rug, which in turn was inspired by a rug we discovered in an antiques market. The headboard frame is upholstered with a handmade dhurrie which is first woven on a handloom, then the pattern is screen printed with embroidered detail added after. The artisanal process results in each piece having individual characteristics, from the colour tone to the knots and bobbles that appear in the weave.

Our Stylist Says

The OKA Sheki headboard is a great option for adding a touch of colour and texture to both traditional and contemporary interiors. I love how its botanical embroidery brings a subtle yet charming character to a variety of bedroom styles. It works particularly well in country, boho, or eclectic schemes, where the mix of cotton, mango wood, and wool can complement natural textures and relaxed atmospheres. For styling tips, consider pairing it with layered linens in neutral or earthy tones to highlight the embroidered detail, or position it against a softly coloured wall to make the pattern pop. Its sturdy construction and comfortable design make it both functional and aesthetically pleasing, offering a stylish focal point without feeling overwhelming.
