Description

The pattern of the Sheki King Headboard was originally applied to our popular Sheki Rug, which in turn was inspired by a rug we discovered in an antiques market. The headboard frame is upholstered with a handmade dhurrie which is first woven on a handloom to the screen printing and the embroidery. The artisanal process results in each piece having individual characteristics, from the colour tone to the knots and bobbles that appear in the weave.

Our Stylist Says

The OKA Sheki King Headboard in olive offers a lovely blend of rustic charm and detailed craftsmanship, making it a versatile statement piece. I love how the embroidered cotton fabric brings a touch of cultural richness, while the mango wood base adds warmth and natural texture. It works well in both boho and eclectic interiors, as well as more subdued, Scandinavian-inspired bedrooms that benefit from a pop of pattern and colour. Practical styling tips include pairing it with linen or textured bedding for a cosy feel, and layering with throw pillows in complementary hues or textures. Because of its sturdy construction and timeless design, it can also be a focal point in spaces that prioritise understated elegance and comfort.
