OKA, Sheki Headboard - Super King - Olive, Headboard

Price History
Description
The pattern of the Sheki Super King Headboard was originally applied to our popular Sheki Rug, which in turn was inspired by a rug we discovered in an antiques market. The headboard frame is upholstered with a handmade dhurrie which is first woven on a handloom, then the pattern is screen printed with embroidered detail added after. The artisanal process results in each piece having individual characteristics, from the colour tone to the knots and bobbles that appear in the weave.
Our Stylist Says
This headboard is a versatile piece that works well in both classic and contemporary bedrooms, adding a touch of subtle colour with its olive hue. I love how its padded, upholstered design offers both comfort and visual softness-ideal for creating a cosy retreat. Styling-wise, it pairs beautifully with natural textures like linen and rattan, as seen here, and can be complemented with layered bedding in neutral shades to keep things understated or with patterned cushions for added interest. Practical tips include matching it with bedside tables in warm woods or metallic finishes to enhance its earthy tone, and it’s perfect for layering with throws or cushions to suit different seasons or decor styles.
