Description

Adorned with a richly coloured floral design, inspired by British textiles from centuries gone by, this wool rug makes a striking centrepiece in a sitting room, dining room or study. Vegetable dyed and treated with a herbal wash before being left to dry naturally in the sun, the wool takes on a beautiful, antiqued finish.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Shalimar rug for its rich, antique red tones and traditional pattern, which add warmth and character to a space. It's versatile enough to work well in both classic and more bohemian interiors, making it a great anchor piece for living rooms or bedrooms. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral furniture to let the rug stand out, or mix with other textured textiles for a layered look. Practical tips include using it under a coffee table or dining table to define the area, and rotating it periodically to maintain its colour and condition. Overall, it's a statement piece that combines history with contemporary appeal.
