Description
The clean lines and curvaceous legs of the Kaishu pedestal table call to mind Chinese calligraphy, but in the form of a contemporary furniture piece. Sharing the same striking silhouette as the other pieces in the range, this round dining table comes in a subtle Watered Grey finish, making an impressive centrepiece for a dining room.

I love how the Kaishu table’s gently weathered grey oak finish and sculptural base bring both warmth and character without overwhelming a space. Its round shape is ideal for encouraging conversation in kitchens or dining rooms of all sizes, and the neutral tone slots straight into Scandi-inspired, Japandi or modern rustic interiors.
For styling, keep the centrepiece simple - a low ceramic vase or a slim candle tray - to let the base remain a focal point. Mix in textured linen napkins or a woven runner to add depth, and choose chairs in complementary woods or soft upholstery for contrast. Finish the look with a natural-fibre rug beneath to define the area and soften underfoot.
