Description

This large handmade Vase takes inspiration from classic ancient Chinese pottery. The piece is handmade from clay, fired and polished for high shine by a small group of expert craftspeople in Jingdezhen, a city known for its rich history in traditional porcelain. Its antique-style design is hand painted with delicate blue dragons and clouds and decorative dragon-head handles that are also antiqued by hand. The piece if perfect for a bouquet of freshly picked flowers or an arrangement of faux stems for all-year-round style.

Our Stylist Says

I love this blue glazed vase for its charming antique look and playful pattern, which can add a touch of character to various interiors. It works particularly well in eclectic or bohemian spaces, but can also serve as a statement piece in more minimal Scandinavian-inspired rooms. When styling, consider pairing it with lush greenery or succulents to bring out its colour and pattern, or leave it empty as a sculptural accent. Practical tips include using it as a standalone feature on a console table or shelf, or grouping it with other textured or vintage pieces for a curated, layered look. Its versatility makes it a great addition to both city apartments and country homes seeking a touch of timeless charm.
