Price History

Description

The barley-twist detail was a popular furniture motif in the 17th-century, and looks just as stylish today, so we thought we’d design some taper candle holders with that corkscrew style in mind. The hand carved mango wood in Spruce green has had a modern update with hand-applied artisanal brushstrokes, topped with a high gloss lacquer that add depth to the colour for anything but a flat finish. These fun decorative pieces will make even the simplest of candles shine bright. Due to the artisanal nature of the pieces, there will be individual characteristics from piece to piece.

Our Stylist Says

I love these barley twist candle holders for their timeless, vintage-inspired look that adds texture and character to a variety of interiors. They work particularly well in traditional or rustic spaces, but can also bring an unexpected quirky touch to more modern settings. For styling, try grouping them on a mantelpiece or side table alongside candles of different heights for visual interest. They also look great paired with greenery or small decorative objects to create a curated, layered display. Keep the lighting soft and warm to enhance their rich, deep green colour and focus on creating an inviting, cosy atmosphere.
