Description

This stunning caned dining chair is named after a town near the birthplace of Georges Jacobs, the master French designer who crafted caned furniture for Marie Antoinette. The tapered legs are topped with a comfortable foam-filled seat upholstered in linen featuring our popular Ocellus print. Due to the natural materials used, each piece will have individual characteristics.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Ormoy chair for its clean lines and natural materials - the woven rattan back brings texture while the botanical-print linen seat adds a subtle graphic touch. It slips effortlessly into modern farmhouse, coastal or Scandi-inspired schemes and can even soften a more streamlined, contemporary dining area. To style, pair with a light oak or whitewashed table and layer neutral linen placemats. Add simple, green foliage in glass vases for continuity and protect floors with discreet felt pads. If you need occasional extra seating, it also works well at a console or as a desk chair.
