Description

Boasting the same refined natural beauty as the original Ormoy Chair, but minus the arms, this iteration of the popular dining chair is ideal for those with more compact dining areas. This collection takes its name from a town near the birthplace of Georges Jacobs, the master French designer who crafted caned furniture for Marie Antoinette – and whose style influenced this piece.

Our Stylist Says

I love this chair for its versatile mix of linen and rattan, which brings a relaxed yet refined vibe to dining spaces. It works particularly well in coastal, Scandinavian, or boho interiors thanks to its natural materials and light colour palette. For styling tips, I’d pair it with a wooden dining table to keep the natural aesthetic consistent, or use it as a statement piece around a darker or contrasting table for visual interest. Practical advice would be to keep cushions light and simple to maintain its understated elegance, and consider placing it in a space where its breathable linen will add comfort in warmer months. It’s an accessible, stylish option that’s equally at home in casual or more polished dining arrangements.
