Description

In Greek myth, everything Midas touched would turn to gold, therefore it seemed a fitting name for our Midas Range, with its touches of gold on the bun feet and metal plates at each corner. The beautiful and unusual grain of the wood is produced from highly sought-after burl wood - this is a cross section of the knots that form on trees, and so features a swirling pattern referred to as a 'wild grain', that requires highly skilled craftsmen in order to cut it without splitting the wood. Due to the material and artisanal techniques used for this side table, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

The Midas Side Table in warm burl is a versatile piece that brings a touch of warmth and sophistication to any bedroom setting. Its rich wood finish works particularly well in both modern and traditional interiors, adding texture and depth without overwhelming the space. I love pairing it with earthy tones or muted colours to enhance its natural grain, but it also makes a great contrast with monochrome palettes for a contemporary look. Practical styling tips include layering a small dish or tray for accessories, or using the surface for a favourite book and a table lamp to create a cosy, functional bedside setup. Its sturdy build and streamlined design make it a reliable and stylish choice for everyday use.
