Our Talasa Mirror is named after the Greek word for 'sea', in homage to its hand-carved undulating edge that resembles a wave. The shape was originally applied to a tray which was based upon an antique, but has now been reimagined as a matching mirror. The mango wood is hand painted in a high-gloss red lacquer for a luxuriously shiny look.
I love the bold colour and unique shape of the OKA mirror, making it a standout piece in any setting. Its vibrant Chinese red frame adds warmth and character, perfect for injecting a touch of colour into neutral or modern interiors. This mirror works well in both contemporary and eclectic schemes, especially when paired with warm woods or textured furnishings. For styling tips, position it to reflect natural light in a living space or hallway to enhance brightness, or use it as an eye-catching focal point above a console table or sideboard. Pairing it with woven baskets or subtle metallic accents can help balance its vivid colour, making it a versatile addition to both cosy and stylish interiors.
