Description

Drawing on the elaborate woodwork found in traditional Japanese architecture, the Katsura makes a statement wherever it is placed. Defined by its bold lines and painted finish, it can be styled with similar designs or alongside pieces that take inspiration from different places and cultures. Due to the artisanal crafting process, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this natural-finish console for its clean grid detail and light oak tone - it brings texture without overwhelming a space. It slots effortlessly into Scandi, coastal or contemporary interiors and even works as a pared-back hall table in a traditional home. Styling-wise, keep the top simple: a low profile ceramic lamp or a sculptural vase beside a slim tray for keys and mail. A round or arched mirror hung just above will soften the straight lines, while a small stack of books or a single potted succulent on one side adds just the right balance of height and greenery.
