Price History

Description

The Homar is an addition to our collection of Persian-inspired rugs with bold abstract botanical motifs on a neutral ground. The piece is hand tufted, which is a weaving technique that combines ancient skills with modern tools. It involves using a canvas, a tufting gun, and wool strands that are pushed into the base. After weaving, the rug is washed and backed to secure the tufts and a cotton secondary backing is applied for a final protective finishing. Due to the artisanal craft process, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this one for adding a subtle touch of pattern and colour without overwhelming a space. It works particularly well in both traditional and contemporary interiors, where it can inject a bit of personality while maintaining a cosy feel. The pale blue base makes it versatile, pairing nicely with neutral palettes or softening bolder colour schemes. Practical styling tips include layering it over a larger, neutral rug for added texture or placing it under a dining table or in a living room to define the area. Its wool construction also means it's durable and comfortable underfoot, making it a smart choice for both high-traffic and relaxed spaces.
