Price History

Description

Legend has it that the ancient shaman-queen of Japan, Himiko, was gifted multiple bronze ‘magic’ mirrors from the Emperor of China, some of which were found within her tomb. Inspired by this story, our Himiko Mirror – with its expansive glass and delicate, hand-painted gold frame – brings a little of that magical energy to a home, too.

Our Stylist Says

The OKA Himiko Mirror in antique gold is a fantastic choice for adding a touch of elegance to both classic and contemporary interiors. I love how its warm, aged finish brings a subtle opulence without feeling overly formal, making it versatile across various spaces. It works particularly well in bedrooms and hallways, where it can reflect light and illuminate the room. For styling tips, try pairing it with textured or organic materials like wood and linen to enhance its vintage vibe, or use it as a statement piece above a sideboard or console table to create a focal point. Its size and shape also mean it’s practical for smaller spaces where a larger mirror might be overwhelming.
