Description

This bold range focuses on craftsmanship and pattern. The handwoven fabric is made from natural tussar silk, cultivated in the Indian states that have been producing the yarn for centuries. The yarn is then hand spun, hand dyed, and hand block printed with an orange hieroglyph-style pattern, which is offset by a deep indigo on the cushion cover’s reverse.

Our Stylist Says

The OKA Grassetto Symbols Cushion Cover in indigo and persimmon is a versatile piece that works well in both modern and eclectic interiors. Its abstract pattern and rich colour palette add visual interest without overwhelming a space, making it suitable for layered styling on a neutral sofa or armchair. I love pairing it with textured fabrics like velvet or linen to create a layered, cosy look. Practical styling tips include mixing it with solid-coloured cushions in complementary shades to balance the busy pattern, and using it to add a pop of colour in subdued schemes or to inject warmth into cooler tones. Overall, it’s a well-crafted accessory that elevates any seating area with minimal effort.
