Description

Our handmade Gansu Table Lamp Base takes inspiration for its shape and decoration from ancient Chinese pottery. The porcelain is hand painted withdeep red motifs by a small group of talented artisans who have honed their craft over many generationsin Jingdezhen, China, a city known for its rich history in traditional porcelain design. Due to the artisanal techniques used, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this Gansu Table Lamp for its bold colour and classic Chinese-inspired pattern, which adds a vibrant yet sophisticated touch to a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in eclectic, bohemian, or traditional settings where it can serve as a statement piece. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or muted decor to let the red pop, or using it alongside other red accents for a cohesive look. It’s versatile enough to work on side tables, console units, or even as a bedside lamp - just ensure it’s placed where its striking colour can be appreciated without overwhelming the space.
