Description

Bring some contemporary edge to your cushion collection with the abstract-striped Francis Cushion Cover. Handwoven from 100% natural tussar silk, cultivated in the forests of India’s Bastar and Assam, the cover has a pleasing irregularity to its texture. The front of the cushion is hand block printed with red dye, an ancient technique that uses carved wooden blocks to create the pattern. Due to the natural materials and artisanal techniques used, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

This cushion cover is a fantastic way to introduce colour and texture into a space. I love its rich burgundy hue paired with the silk fabric, which lends a luxurious feel. The geometric and striped pattern makes it versatile - it can add visual interest to both contemporary and traditional interiors. Practical styling tips include mixing it with neutral-toned cushions for a sophisticated layered look, or pairing it with other patterns for an eclectic vibe. It's especially effective on darker sofas or antique armchairs, providing a pop of colour without overwhelming the setting. Overall, it’s a stylish choice for adding a refined yet bold touch to any living or bedroom scheme.
