Description

Bring some contemporary edge to your cushion collection with the abstract-striped Francis Cushion Cover. Handwoven from 100% natural tussar silk, cultivated in the forests of India's Bastar and Assam, the cover has a pleasing irregularity to its texture. The front of the cushion is hand block printed with red dye, an ancient technique that uses carved wooden blocks to create the pattern. Due to the natural materials and artisanal techniques used, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I love the OKA burgundy cushion cover for adding a rich pop of colour to neutral or muted interiors. It's versatile enough to work in both traditional and contemporary schemes, injecting warmth and depth without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include pairing it with complementary textures like plush throws or contrasting fabrics such as linen or velvet for layered interest. It works particularly well on dark or light sofas, and don’t hesitate to mix and match with patterned or plain cushions for a curated, cosy look. This piece is a great way to refresh a sofa or armchair seamlessly.
