Description

This beautiful ceramic lamp is inspired by the traditional ginger jar. It is hand-decorated with gargoyles and birds in a classic chinoiserie landscape scene. The hand-painted red birds have a mythical quality about them, which is why we named it after the immortal birds in Chinese mythology that reigned over all others. A purposefully distressed finish makes the Fenghuang look antique.

Our Stylist Says

I love this lamp because it offers a blend of traditional craftsmanship with modern colour accents, making it a versatile piece in many interiors. The Fenghuang Table Lamp works particularly well in eclectic or bohemian settings, where its unique base and bold red detail can act as a focal point. For styling, consider pairing it with natural textiles or antique furniture to enhance its handmade charm. It's perfect for creating cosy yet visually interesting lighting on bedside tables or sideboards, and adding a pop of colour to neutral palettes. To keep it looking fresh, try pairing it with simple, understated shades and avoid overcrowding the space around it, so its character can really shine.
