Description

Catkins are long, slim buds that grow on many trees including species of hazel, maple, willow and elm. Their name comes from the Middle Dutch word "katteken", meaning kitten, drawing on their resemblance to a cat’s tail. Add a few of these to your floral arrangement for a slightly wild, countryside-inspired display.

Our Stylist Says

I love this faux catkin stem for its subtle, natural aesthetic and its versatility in different interiors. It works particularly well in minimalist or Scandinavian spaces where understated details make a big impact, but it can also add softness to more traditional or eclectic settings. Practical styling tips include grouping a few in a narrow vase for a simple, elegant display, or mixing with other faux botanicals to create a lush, low-maintenance arrangement. Its creamy tone and textured fabric/ plastic material make it a great year-round faux greenery solution - no watering or sunlight needed - perfect for brightening up shelves, side tables, or creating a natural backdrop in living rooms and bedrooms.
