Description

The unique cone shape of our Ernest Table Lamp is hand carved from mango wood. It’s then sanded and stained a neutral cream colour before being sanded again to create the brushed, matt appearance. The lamp’s texture is partly due to its hand-painted nature and partly a result of the wood’s natural grain and the sanding process. This all creates tonal variation that will be different from piece to piece.

Our Stylist Says

I love the OKA Ernest table lamp for its skilful blend of natural materials and understated elegance. The mango wood and metal base combined with the vellum shade create a warm, inviting glow that suits both contemporary and rustic interiors. It works particularly well on side tables or consoles in living rooms, bedrooms, or even entryways. When styling, consider pairing it with textured ceramics or woven accessories to enhance its organic vibe. For a layered look, use it alongside other warm-toned textiles and metallic accents, ensuring the proportion and height complement your existing furnishings. Practical tip: opt for a soft, warm bulb to maximise the lamp’s cosy appeal.
