Description

The Eris Bead Wall Art has been designed exclusively for OKA and is handmade by a company committed to creating employment for local South African women in need; many of whom have been affected by poverty and HIV. The women learn to specialise in specific techniques, which they are able to execute from the comfort of their own homes. This was one of the reasons the founder decided to work with hand-rolled clay beads as the clay comes from local mines, requires craftspeople and doesn’t harm the environment. The beads are dried in the sun, kiln fired and dyed for an attractive watercolour appearance with individual characteristics.

Our Stylist Says

I love how the OKA Eris Bead Wall Art adds texture and subtle visual interest without overwhelming a space. Its geometric design and neutral ivory tone make it versatile and easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors, from contemporary to bohemian could even work in minimal schemes. For styling tips, consider pairing it with other natural materials such as wood or rattan to reinforce its organic feel, or place it above a neutral sofa for a refined touch. It works especially well when hung at eye level, and pairing it with soft, layered lighting can highlight its intricate bead pattern effectively. Overall, it’s a clever piece that elevates wall displays with minimal fuss.
