To craft the graceful trumpet flower shape of our Datura Vase, molten metal is poured into a mould in a process called die casting. It’s then filed by hand and sprayed with colour while emery is used to achieve the polished, metallic black finish.
I love the Datura vase for its architectural form and striking metallic black finish, which makes it a versatile piece in various interiors. It works particularly well in modern or industrial spaces, adding a touch of artisan craftsmanship while maintaining a bold statement. For styling, I’d recommend pairing it with tall, minimalist floral arrangements or dried elements like pampas grass for height and texture. Its substantial size is ideal for anchoring a statement centrepiece on a console or dining table, and its dark tone pairs beautifully with softer palettes or even contrasting metallic accents for a sophisticated look. Keep accessories minimal to let the shape and finish of the vase shine.
