Description

A beautifully soft throw with fringed ends made from baby alpaca wool. Native to the Peruvian Andes, alpacas have to survive fluctuating temperatures ranging from -4 to +86°F. Fortunately, their soft fur is designed to keep them warm when temperatures drop and cool when the sun comes out. Prized for its fine, high-quality fibers, the fleece that is trimmed in the first year of shearing, when the alpacas are a year old, is known as baby alpaca wool. We want our Cria Throws to be soft and luxurious, which is why we ask our weavers in Peru to use only this type of wool.

Our Stylist Says

I love this alpaca throw for its understated elegance and luxurious feel, making it an instant upgrade for both modern and traditional interiors. Its plain design and Loch colour lend themselves well to neutral or muted schemes, adding texture without overwhelming the space. It's perfect layered over a sofa or armchair in a living room for a cosy yet polished look. Practical styling tips include pairing it with other soft textiles, such as velvet cushions or wool rugs, to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Because of its exquisite material, it works particularly well in cabins, scandinavian-inspired schemes, or minimalist interiors where quality and subtle sophistication matter.
