Description

A beautifully soft throw with fringed ends made from baby alpaca wool. Native to the Peruvian Andes, alpacas have to survive fluctuating temperatures ranging from -4 to +86°F. Fortunately, their soft fur is designed to keep them warm when temperatures drop and cool when the sun comes out. Prized for its fine, high-quality fibers, the fleece that is trimmed in the first year of shearing, when the alpacas are a year old, is known as baby alpaca wool. We want our Cria Throws to be soft and luxurious, which is why we ask our weavers in Peru to use only this type of wool.

Our Stylist Says

I love how this alpaca throw adds a touch of understated luxury and cosy texture to a room. Its neutral Bracken hue makes it versatile, perfect for layering over sofas or beds in both modern and traditional interiors. Due to its plain design, it works particularly well in minimalist schemes, where subtle textures are key, or in rustic settings that benefit from natural, tactile accents. Styling tips include draping it casually over the back of a sofa for an effortless look or folding it at the foot of a bed to add warmth and visual interest. Its lightweight yet warm qualities mean it’s ideal for year-round use, making it both practical and stylish.
