Description

There’s no better neutral base than the Capsularis – now available as a narrow runner, perfect for hallways. It’s completely handwoven from water reeds; a floor covering with eco-friendly credentials. Water reeds are a long, broad-leafed grass that have been used for centuries for roof thatching. It follows that this runner will bring natural warmth to flagstone, tiled or wooden floors.

Our Stylist Says

I love this runner for adding natural texture and warmth to a variety of interiors. Its understated, neutral shade makes it incredibly versatile-perfect for grounding a light, airy space or complementing a more colourful scheme. It works particularly well in coastal, boho, or rustic settings where the water reed finish can enhance the organic feel. For styling tips, consider layering it with other woven or linen pieces to create depth, and pair it with simple, understated furniture to let the natural fibres shine. Its cotton backing also offers practical benefits, helping it stay in place on hardwood or tiled floors while adding comfort underfoot.
