Price History

Description

There’s no better neutral base than the Capsularis Rug; handwoven from water reeds, with no machine involvement, this is a floor covering with eco-friendly credentials. Water reeds are a long, broad-leafed grass that have been used for centuries for roof thatching. It follows that this rug will bring natural warmth to flagstone, tiled or wooden floors.

Our Stylist Says

This Oka rug in natural tones is a versatile piece that adds warmth and texture to a variety of interiors. I love how its neutral palette makes it easy to layer with different colours and styles, whether in a contemporary, coastal, or traditional scheme. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms where a cosy, inviting feel is desired. Practical styling tips include pairing it with light or naturalwood furniture to enhance its organic vibe, and placing it beneath a sofa or bed to anchor the space. Its blend of cotton and wool also offers a good balance between durability and softness, making it suitable for high-traffic areas while maintaining comfort underfoot.
