Description

OKA’s story began with its three female founders, living between London and the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. The fragrance of our Birdsong Candle embodies the English countryside, white-fronted townhouses, bountiful spring blooms and fresh air. Its light scent, with heart notes of magnolia and neroli, conjure thoughts of green and pleasant lands. The magnolia tree itself is a sweet attraction for songbirds – including the Magnolia Warbler – who comes to call in search of a berry or two.

Our Stylist Says

I love the OKA Birdsong candle for its understated elegance and neutral palette, making it a versatile piece for a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in cosy, Hygge-inspired spaces or minimalist schemes, adding warmth without overpowering the décor. Stylistically, it can be pairing effortlessly with natural textures like wood and linen, as shown in the image, helping to create a calming atmosphere. Practical styling tips include placing it on a side table or shelf alongside other neutral accessories or books to enhance its presence, and lighting it during evening gatherings to add subtle ambient lighting that elevates the room’s mood.
