Price History

Description

The Bergama Rug is hand knotted from wool with a cotton backing. The subtle grey pattern is woven into the natural base giving the impression of a delicate sketch. It is crafted in a lengthy process that takes approximately 25 days, making each piece incredibly special. Due to the artisanal crafting process, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

This rug is a versatile piece that works well in both modern and traditional interiors, especially those with neutral or earthy colour schemes. I love how the natural wool finish adds warmth and texture without overwhelming the space. It's an excellent choice for living areas or bedrooms where a subtle, understated look is desired. To style it effectively, consider pairing with contemporary furniture for a balanced look, or layering it over richer textiles for a more eclectic, cosy feel. Practical tips include ensuring the rug is proportionate to your furniture - for example, a larger rug under a sofa set will anchor the space nicely. Overall, it’s a timeless piece that can effortlessly elevate the aesthetic of any room.
