Description

We think that a bed looks naked without a valance. In fact this, and a matching headboard, would be the first thing that we suggest in any bedroom makeover. Ours are piped around the top and knife-pleated at the corners.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this natural-coloured cotton valance because its simple, tailored pleats give any bed a crisp, finished look while concealing under-bed storage. The soft, neutral hue works equally well in classic country homes, Scandi-inspired bedrooms or even pared-back contemporary schemes. For styling, ensure you measure the drop so it skims the floor without pooling. Pair it with textured linens or a lightweight throw in muted tones to add depth, and choose bedside rugs in natural fibres for continuity. A quick shake or gentle machine wash will keep the cotton looking fresh.
