Description

Our handmade Banpo Table Lamp Base takes inspiration for its shape and decoration from ancient Chinese pottery. The porcelain is painted with brown motifs and glazed for shine by a small group of talented artisans who have honed their craft over many generationsin Jingdezhen, China, a city known for its rich history in traditional porcelain design. Due to the artisanal techniques used, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this lamp because it offers a great blend of functionality and visual interest. The brown tone and patterned shade make it versatile enough to work in both traditional and contemporary interiors, particularly those with warm, earthy palettes or eclectic styles. It’s perfect for side tables, reading nooks, or as a bedside lamp, adding a cosy glow. When styling, consider pairing it with textured textiles or natural materials like wood and ceramics to highlight its earthy charm. Keeping the base and shade in focus with simple surroundings will allow its unique character to shine. This lamp is a practical choice that can elevate the overall feel of a room without overwhelming it.
