Description

The six-petalled shape of our Asphodel Lampshade is handmade from an iron wire frame, covered in dyed jute and finished with a black and white striped trim. Jute is a natural fibre that will vary in thickness and texture leading to the formation of slubs; naturally occurring marks within the fibre. These natural characteristics add to the charm of each piece. Designed to hang from your ceiling, the contrasting colours bring drama to the large shade, while a black tassel that hangs from its centre adds a touch of glamour.

Our Stylist Says

I love this lampshade for its classic yet contemporary feel; the striped pattern in ivory and black adds visual interest without overwhelming the space. It works particularly well in interiors with neutral or monochromatic palettes, adding warmth and texture, especially when paired with wooden or black metal furniture. Practical styling tips include placing it in a cosy corner with layered lighting or on a side table to elevate an everyday setup. Its versatile design makes it suitable for both traditional and modern interiors, and the jute material gives it an understated natural touch that complements casual or eclectic schemes.
