Description

Our Anoushka Rug has a design inspired by traditional Persian rugs with its floral motifs and framing border. The pattern is hand knotted by skilled artisans using a New Zealand wool blend that is first hand spun into yarn and hand dyed. Once woven, the rug is hand washed for an antique effect. Due to this artisanal process, there will be individual characteristics and slight colour variation from piece to piece, adding to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Anoushka rug because its neutral ivory and blue tones make it versatile for various interiors, from classic to more relaxed contemporary spaces. It works particularly well layered over wooden flooring, adding warmth and texture without overwhelming the room. For styling, pairing it with neutral or soft-coloured furniture allows the rug’s subtler details to stand out, while a few carefully chosen accessories in matching or complementary shades can create a cohesive look. Practical tips include placing it under a coffee table or dining table for a cosy, grounded feel, and considering its durability if used in high-traffic areas-its understated pattern is forgiving and easy to maintain. Overall, it’s a good choice for those wanting a timeless, stylish piece with flexibility in design.
