Description

Find the perfect lighting fit for boho or global-inspired interiors with the Odin Tribal Ceramic Table Lamp. This table light features a tall vase-shaped base with a tribal-inspired pattern in a black and beige colour scheme for an eye catching and contrasting effect. It also comes with a gorgeous natural coloured fabric shade that diffuses a warm glow out into the room for atmospheric illumination.

Our Stylist Says

I love this tribal ceramic lamp for its bold, graphic design that adds a touch of ethnic character to a space. The black finish makes it versatile enough to work in eclectic, bohemian, or modern interiors, especially when paired with natural textures like wood or rattan. It’s a great statement piece for side tables or console setups, providing both function and visual interest. Practical styling tips include using it alongside neutral or earthy tones to let the pattern stand out, and layering with other textured accessories like woven baskets or patterned cushions to create a cohesive, stylish look. The understated shade keeps the focus on the beautifully crafted base, making it an effortless yet impactful addition.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
