Description

Industrial inspired, the Odell ash and black metal console table with 2 drawers provides ample storage space to a hallway. Crafted from ash veneer and finished with a solid metal open frame, this versatile table is ideal for hallways and smaller spaces. Combining clean lines and sharp angles, two drawers provide practical storage space for keys, paperwork and clutter. Slim and sturdy, there’s plenty of space on top for a lamp or vase. Part of the Odell range, a side table and nested tables are also available.

Our Stylist Says

This sleek console table is a versatile piece that blends modern industrial style with functional storage. I love its combination of black metal legs and natural wooden drawers, making it ideal for contemporary or minimalist interiors. It works well in entryways, living rooms, or even behind sofas, providing a practical surface for lamps, decorative items or keys, while the drawers offer discreet storage. For styling tips, consider pairing it with monochrome accessories or greenery to add warmth, and keep tabletop clutter-free to emphasise its streamlined design. Its neutral colour scheme makes it flexible enough to complement a variety of colour palettes and interior styles.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
