The chair is covered in plush, soft fabric and constructed from strong and durable hardwood covered with foam for comfort. The legs are oak coloured with an elegant metal finish at the point. All materials meet or exceed UK safety regulations.

I’m a fan of this Octavia chair for its bold mustard velvet and elegant silhouette - it adds instant character to everything from Scandi-inspired living rooms to modern eclectic corners. The curved back and slender, metal-tipped legs give it a light, airy feel, so it won’t overwhelm a smaller space.
To style it, tuck it into a reading nook beside a slim side table and neutral lamp, or pair it with a textured rug and a contrasting cushion for depth. It also works well opposite a pared-back sofa as a statement piece. The velvet is surprisingly low-maintenance - a quick brush keeps it looking fresh.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
