Description
Functionalist geometry. The Oblique stool fuses traditional Japanese woodworking techniques with the sensitivity of Scandinavian design. Sculptural and minimalist, this stool has clean, zen lines. It consists of a geometric assembly of thick solid oak planks. The oblique feet and large panel forming the backrest create pure, honest lines, precise and yet slightly offset. The pure lines, refinement and noble materials are characteristic of the Japanese art of living and its conspicuous refinement. Oblique can be used as a stool, side table or bedside table.
