Description
Originally hand-painted by our in-house design team using watercolours, our Obie bedspread is made from a quilted cotton velvet and features abstract floral motifs inspired by Art Nouveau. Created using a matelasse stitching technique, the bedspread is finished with a pompom trim - a textural and decorative addition that recalls the sumptuous textures seen in Soho House Rome.

I love the Obie bedspread for its versatile, understated look. Its neutral cream tone makes it easy to layer into various colour palettes, from soft pastels to richer, more muted tones. It works particularly well in relaxed, classic interiors-think countryside or coastal schemes-where its textured pattern and cosy feel add a sense of warmth without overwhelming the space. For styling, I suggest draping it casually over the bed for a laid-back vibe or folding it neatly at the foot of the bed for a clean, ordered look. To add depth, layer with other textiles like linen or faux fur throws. Its size makes it ideal for draping over a super king or king-sized bed, and its tactile quality invites touch, making it as much a decor piece as a practical cover.
