Description

The Obaby Stamford furniture range offers families the perfect combination of style, quality and practicality. For those who require the features of a full-size cot but have limited space, the Stamford Space Saver cot is the perfect solution. Needing less space than the Stamford Mini cot bed, the Space Saver cot features the same elegant sleigh design as the rest of the collection, teething rails to protect your little ones delicate first teeth and a three-position adjustable mattress base. The top position allows your newborn to be put down and taken out of the cot easily without unnecessary bending, then as your child grows, learning to sit and stand, the base can be lowered by a further two positions providing extra security and reassurance all the way up to approximately 18 months old. This cotbed requires an Obaby 100 x 50cm mattress, sold separately. The included matching under drawer has a generous 35. L capacity offering parents that much needed extra storage space for their little one’s belongings. Durable wheels ensure that the drawer opens and closes smoothly on any floor surface and recessed handles make sure that there are no protruding handles to catch. For this item, our supplier can deliver to your doorstep, but the drivers cannot enter your property. If you live in a flat, the delivery driver will be able to bring the boxes to the main entrance of the building, but they will not be able to take them up to the door of your flat. Therefore, we recommend having someone with you who can take in the boxes.

Our Stylist Says

The Obaby Stamford Space Saver Cotbed offers a practical yet timeless choice for modern nurseries. Its clean, white finish pairs beautifully with a range of colour schemes, from pastel tones to neutral palettes, making it adaptable to various interior styles. I love its space-saving design, which is ideal for smaller rooms without compromising on comfort or safety. For styling tips, consider layering soft textiles like a cosy blanket or textured bumpers, and adding personalised touches such as wall art or storage baskets nearby to create a warm, inviting nursery. The simplicity of this cotbed makes it a versatile piece that stays stylish as your little one grows.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
