Description

In mottled wool, Nykare is a dense, comfortable and warm contemporary rug. Its irregular chevrons are woven and knotted by hand with skill, by Indian artisans. Its pattern, punctuated by a few small coloured threads, is formed by the texture of the weaving on a darker flat woven background.. Nykare is also a good heat and sound insulator. An AMPM design that'll work in any room. Product Details • 70% wool, 22% polyester, 8% cotton • Craftsmanship:Hand woven • Weight: 2400 g/m2 • Pile height: 6 to 8mm. Quality Info • Handcrafted, each piece is unique and has its own shades of colour that may differ from one rug to another. • Wool is a warm and comfortable fibre. A wool rug is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • We advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended. Dimensions • Width 120 x Length 180cm • Width 160 x Length 230cm • Width 200 x Length 290cmDelivery:. Available for home delivery.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this rug for its classic yet contemporary look-its herringbone pattern is subtle but adds texture and visual interest to any room. The wool construction makes it a practical choice for durability and comfort underfoot, ideal for living rooms or bedrooms. It works well in both modern and traditional interiors, especially when paired with neutral or muted tones to highlight its natural appeal. For styling, consider layering with patterned cushions or throws, or anchoring a seating area with a complementary fabric or colour scheme. To keep it looking its best, regular vacuuming and prompt stain treatment are recommended, but overall, it’s a versatile piece that combines style with practicality.
