Description
The traditional Nova bed frame is inspired by the simple style of Shaker furniture. Made from solid wood with a painted finish, it has a laid-back homely look. The tall headboard creates a refined focal point for your bedroom, full of character and serenity, perfect for creating a minimalist look. This frame has solid slats ideal for a firmer mattress. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

I really like the Nova bed for its clean lines and sturdy metal frame - it instantly gives a room a pared-back, contemporary feel. Its black finish works equally well in a Scandi-inspired space (think pale walls and light wood furniture) or an industrial loft setting with exposed brick and vintage accents.
For styling, keep bedding neutral and introduce texture with a chunky knit throw or velvet cushions. A low-profile bedside table and a slim table lamp will maintain the minimalist appeal, while a woven rug and a couple of potted plants add warmth without cluttering the look.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
