Normann Copenhagen Tap stool Sand oak legs
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of the simple tap stool in sand with oak legs because its clean lines and natural tones slot easily into Scandi, Japandi or contemporary schemes. The light oak brings warmth without dominating, while the muted seat colour acts as a neutral backdrop for any setting. For practical use, try it as an extra seat at a kitchen island, or repurpose it as a side table by the sofa - pop a small tray on top for coffee and magazines. It also works well in pairs by an entrance hall console or as a plant stand in a sunlit corner. Its understated palette makes it easy to layer in cushions or throws for a quick colour update.

About Nordic Nest
An Odyssey in Scandinavian Design
Established in 2002, Nordic Nest underwent a transformation in name from Scandinavian Design Center in 2019. However, its core ethos remained unchanged - to introduce the world to the elegance and simplicity of Scandinavian interior design.

From classic iconic pieces to contemporary marvels, the company provides a design experience that captures the very essence of a Scandinavian home - personal, timeless, and filled with memories.
Commitment to Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
Nordic Nest isn't just about aesthetics; it's also about ethics. The company stands firm on its corporate social responsibility, emphasising employee well-being, promoting diversity and gender equality, and ensuring that business practices are transparent and ethical.
They're also making strides in environmental efforts, always seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. This focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility isn't just for today, but with an eye on the future, ensuring that both their designs and their business practices stand the test of time.
Bridging Cultures Through Translation
In today's interconnected world, language shouldn't stand in the way. To ensure their customers around the world can easily browse and shop, Nordic Nest partnered with Contentor, a company specialising in translations, to offer their website in multiple languages.
Their online shop, now available in ten languages, shows their commitment to localised content, ensuring that every visitor feels a personal connection.
Working with Contentor, Nordic Nest has focused on more than just translating words. They've worked together to create a full, enjoyable shopping experience for customers everywhere.
