I’m a fan of the Mat barstool in seaweed - its beech shell brings a soft, natural texture while the slim black base keeps the look modern and unfussy. The muted green works well in Scandi-inspired kitchens, contemporary city pads or anywhere you want a subtle pop of colour without overwhelming the room.
For a balanced look, team it with a simple timber breakfast bar or a dark stone countertop that echoes the frame’s finish. Add a slim, patterned cushion for extra comfort and visual interest, or cluster two at a window-side bar for a relaxed, sociable feel.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
