I’m a fan of the Mat bar chair for its clean, curved shell in a muted seaweed tone and those simple beech legs with a black steel base - it feels both sturdy and tactile. The subtle green works as a neutral, so it slots straight into Scandi-inspired kitchens, modern urban lofts or pared-back café settings.
For styling, pair it with a pale stone or white countertop to let the seat colour pop, or tone it down against darker cabinetry. Keep lines crisp by choosing minimal pendant lights overhead and a slim, charcoal seat pad if you want extra comfort. A few black or terracotta accessories nearby will tie the look together without overwhelming that distinctive shell shape.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
